Top Games of the Week in College Football
#7 Florida vs. #1 Alabama (Florida Gators at Alabama Crimson Tide)
This is definitely going to be one of the most anticipated games of the week. I predict Alabama to win 24-17. The absolute key to the game will be if Florida’s offense can minimize mistakes and stay on the field. The Florida secondary and special teams are going to have to continue to control field positions and make plays to put the offense in advantageous positions. If they allow Ingram and Richardson to control time of possession they will eventually wear out Florida.
#9 Stanford vs. #4 Oregon
At this point of the season, Oregon and Stanford appear to be the two best teams in the Pac-10. Stanford upset the Ducks last year, who were thought to be unbeatable. I predict Stanford to win once again 31-20. This will be one of the best games of the year.
#21 Texas vs. #8 Oklahoma
The longhorns lost by a margin of 22 points to a UCLA Bruins team who was shut out at home two weeks ago by Stanford. Oklahoma, although they beat Cincinnati 31-29, allowed nearly 500 years of offense. They will have to step up their defense if they want to beat the Horns. Let's see how the Longhorns come out and play after a huge lost to the Bruins. I predict the Horns will win 27-20.
